Makes me wonder if they bothered to study the other kind, really. Since if you were surprised...
...Yeah, it'd be better if they weren't. But...even though that's the case, a part of me's always hoping Mai'd show up, or something, you know? Or Suki, or the girls. Just to have people I know have my back, always. I feel like that's what we need more than anything, sometimes.
[It's always a struggle, wishing to see people from home that you could rely on, and then realizing they'd have to go through Haven for that to happen.]
But at least I know you've got my back, and I have yours. And we've got three Avatars around. That counts for something, right?
Definitely does! Hey, what's your fighting style like sans bending, anyway?
[ ...She already has figured out not a single one of them made it out of the maze of death for obvious reasons, but she never actually got around to asking how well the others did or didn't fair sans bending. ]
Uh...it's kind of a mix of different styles, I guess. I've been trying to get some more non-bending practice in.
[This isn't the first or last time Haven's going to take her bending away when she needs it. She knows this now. There's only one thing she can do to combat it, and it's learning fighting styles that don't involve bending in any way.]
Sure thing. Hand-to-hand's my specialty, even without that. Well, I guess I can teach you to use fans or a sword the way the Kyoshi do, too, but I don't have extras of those, sooooooooo.
[ Is there anyone in the series who doesn't have a deep-set dislike of chiblocking aside from like Mai and Ty Lee, though. ]
Well, why not have an Avatar meeting or something? All three of you should have the same bending capabilities, even if you're not all using 'em. And if anyone knows weird bending stuff, it's the three of you.
[ Her only suggestion...she has no bending pointers, unless the object is to stop someone from doing it. ]

[ Things that can only end well: teaching Avatars how to drop people with pressure points. ]
Can't take away something that's just know-how.
audio;
Maybe not...the blocking part yet. [She doesn't think she could get over the deep-set dislike for it just yet.]
But if you could teach me some other things, that would be great.

You know, I don't think I've ever learned how to use a weapon before. I guess the closest would be the staff I've been practicing with Raleigh.
audio;
[ ??????????????? how does metalbending work, unlike chiblocking she just does not know ]
Or, well, the katana stuff. Otherwise, yep, let's be sparring partners! I'll teach you lots of tricks.
audio;
Maybe I'll be able to make the fan when I'm better at it.
audio;
[ THE LOSERS... ]
I don't really know that much about metalbending, anyway. Just what Toph used against us and, like, around me back home.
audio;
Toph was teaching me some of the basics before she...went home.
audio;
[ does he metalbend...
ty lee really does not keep track of you all. ]
audio;
I've just sort of been, you know...winging it.
audio;
Huh. I guess you guys have it pretty hard when it comes to new...bendy styles.
audio;
If he can do that, I should be able to figure out metalbending.
[Or so she hopes...]
There's... just not a lot of people I can ask around here for pointers.
audio;
[ Her only suggestion...she has no bending pointers, unless the object is to stop someone from doing it. ]
audio;
Anyway, when did you want to meet up for the sparring and lessons?
audio;
audio;
I guess I can try to wake up earlier. There won't be as many people wandering around the housing area then.
[Someone's sounding extremely reluctant.]
audio;
Sounds like a plan to me, then.
audio;
You're the teacher here. You get to choose the time.
audio;
audio;
See you in the morning?
audio;
Yep, see you then! Take care, Korra!
