It's pretty common by my time, but I just never got the chance to learn it until I got here.

Toph was teaching me some of the basics before she...went home.

I've just sort of been, you know...winging it.

Huh. I guess you guys have it pretty hard when it comes to new...bendy styles.

Just a little. But Wan taught himself the elements when he was traveling.

If he can do that, I should be able to figure out metalbending.

[Or so she hopes...]

There's... just not a lot of people I can ask around here for pointers.

Well, why not have an Avatar meeting or something? All three of you should have the same bending capabilities, even if you're not all using 'em. And if anyone knows weird bending stuff, it's the three of you.

[ Her only suggestion...she has no bending pointers, unless the object is to stop someone from doing it. ]

We probably should. [Sounding a little sheepish.] Wan's taught me a few things--I should return the favor.

Anyway, when did you want to meet up for the sparring and lessons?

Ugh, mornings. [It's accompanied by gagging noises. Ty Lee might be able to imagine the face she makes right now.]

I guess I can try to wake up earlier. There won't be as many people wandering around the housing area then.

[Someone's sounding extremely reluctant.]

O-kayyyy. [As long as she doesn't mind Korra dead-eying her for the first hour or so, she can be as perky as she wants.]
