Oh, sure. Make me do all the work so you can keep running.
[Bad enough your legs were longer. Cheater.]
[But magic was the safer route, less Korra accidentally BBQ the both of them while trying to illuminate the path...so she gave in and summoned a couple of her glowing orbs. One to follow Korra, and one to keep on her tail.]
[She definitely did not give a small 'eep' at the feel of completely unexpected winds blowing at her hair, and will deny everything if Korra ever suggests otherwise.]
Maybe not...but this will!
Etativel!
[She took to the air, shooting forward. Hi, Korra. Bye, Korra.]
[Interestingly enough, the pair encountered very few monsters for the remainder of their trip. Either because they were unable to keep up...or had no idea what just hit them when a pair of giggling teenaged girls flew by in the blink of an eye.]
[By the time they made it to the exit, Zatanna was out of breath. Mostly from laughing so hard. She leaned against a nearby wall for a moment, chest heaving, cheeks flushed, and a huge grin on her face.]
[Wow, laughing at her embarrassment is just rude!! She mutters her answer, feeling her cheeks heat up a little.]
A few days ago. Wait--can we meet up somewhere? Talking about this on the phone is just...weird. [It's not exactly groundbreaking information being revealed here, but imagining a Yao employee listening in on this conversation gives her the creeps.]
[ She winces, keeping it in mind for the future. ]
I'll be right over.
[ and sure enough a few moments later Rose drops down at her window, and slides in. She's not armed as she usually is: not a gun or blade in sight, just a pair of what seem to be brass knuckles. ]
[ She scans subtly for traps as she enters - not because she expects Korra to have set some, but one never knew. Then, she picks a spot on the bed and lounges, waiting for Korra to join her. ]
